Our coaching starts with where you are. We take time to get to know your interests, strengths, and experiences, then help you map out a plan that works for your goals.

Career Readiness Boot Camp

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a career that supports their goals, values, and vision for their future. Our Career Readiness Boot Camp combines practical workforce training with a co-active coaching approach that helps participants recognize their strengths, clarify their goals, and take meaningful action toward long-term success.

This program is ideal for:

  • Individuals who are unemployed or underemployed,
  • Adults pursuing career advancement or a career change, or
  • Individuals seeking training, certifications, or pathways to higher-wage employment

Indy Reads

English Language Learner (ELL) Classes

Indy Reads’ English Language Learning (ELL) classes support adult learners to develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, and comprehension skills to unlock their economic and social potential.

Our Community Classroom model offers highly individualized lesson plans that incorporate the goals of each student. Led by Indy Reads’ certified instructors, our ELL classes are supported by trained classroom volunteers. This means that students often work in small groups to practice their English language skills, which leads to better learning outcomes.

All of Indy Reads’ classes are:

  • FREE for students.
  • All English-speaking levels are welcome.
  • Classes are available online or in-person.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to become a student.
  • Students attend class six hours each week.

 

Class Schedule
Two weekly ELL class sessions are offered:

  • Evening Class: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Support Workforce Development

Partner & Volunteer with Us!

Are you a workforce development professional, training and education provider, or someone passionate about helping individuals realize their full potential and discover their talents? Our Workforce Development team wants to partner with you!

We’re looking for volunteers to:

  • Conduct Mock Interviews
  • Lead workshops on workforce development topics (resume building, interview prep, job search, and more)


We also welcome community employers interested in connecting with our participants through:

  • Recruitment events (job fairs, hiring opportunities)
  • Company info sessions and presentations
